yeah, that's a lot of snow.

there was a crap load. my girlfriends car almost got stuck in the parking lot while she was trying to leave for work this afternoon. I had to push her little v-dub to get it out of a drift. anyway, she got going alright. for me, i've got a 4x4, so it was pretty fun without any challenge. The snow was nice to look at outside the window first thing this morning, but to clean off the vehicles -it blew (literally, right back into my face). oh well. I'm pretty sure we'll have a white Christmas, so that'll be nice. i don't feel like writing today. i'm feeling lazy.

I forgot to add the fabric softener!

...ok, so I actually didn't forget -yet. I'm sitting here waiting for the rinse cycle to begin. My girlfriend is in the shower and she's assigned me this job. I've never had to do this before because I've always used a washer where there's an automatic dispenser. So, as I sit here, I'm trying to listen the machine to determine when the rinse cycle starts. I think it's after the waters done filling up and it agitates again? Hmm- or is it while it's filling up for the second time?? Or maybe I'll just put a little in now and then some later -maybe I'll just not do it and tell her that I did! ...she'll never know, unless she reads this! Then again, she might also figure it out when she tries to put on her shirt and it has static cling like crazy. Maybe I'll put it in now just to play it safe... When she gets out of the shower I'll tell her that I forgot to add the softener and I just poured it all over the load when it was finished... that'll be a fun reaction to entertain! ;)

Clam Chowder and Beer

So tonight I get off of work and I'm starving. I get to my girlfriends apartment and look in the fridge... there's nothing! Damn... now what?! ...then I remembered last week when we went shopping -I had bought all these cans of soup because they were on sale for something like a gazillion cans for five bucks. I open up the cupboard, and BAMM! I struck the motherload! -I opened up a can of New England and warmed it up on the stove... while I was waiting I decided to have some chips and dip to take away the hunger- God that was sooo good, but i needed to wash it down with something. Water wasn't going to cut it- So, I opened up the fridge again, like there was going to be something magically appearing in there that wasn't in there 2 minutes ago, hoping to see something other than emptiness... but then I see my case of beer.... hmm not bad, ok I'll have a beer. It wasn't so bad washing down chips and dip, although I would have much rather had an ice cold Coke- but anyway, I then realized that I had Clam Chowder warming up behind me on the stove... so yes, I was forced to drink the rest of my beer along with a bowl of hot New England Clam Chowder... I really don't recommend the combination-

today was a long day

...yes, indeed it was. I'm too tired to write anything. My Internet connection is slow tonight (broadband, go figure!?) and all i want to do is take my frustration out on my laptop... which I don't think will solve the issue- where's that big red 'easy' button?!? ...so until next time, good night all and I'll catch you later!
